Geoscience & Geological Consulting

Professional geological assessment that tells you what a site is made of, what it can carry and what it will cost to build on — before you commit capital.

Overview

Every project we touch begins here. Our geoscience practice provides the field data and interpretation that developers, landowners, lenders and municipalities need in order to make a decision they will not have to reverse.

We work across southern Alberta's prairie, coulee and badland formations, characterising soils, aggregates and subsurface conditions and translating the findings into plain recommendations: build here, not there; expect this bearing capacity; budget for this drainage; avoid this setback.

Reports are written to be used — by an engineer, a council, a lender or an owner — not filed away. Where a finding changes the economics of a project, we say so directly and early, while the decision is still cheap to change.
